Creamy Cajun Shrimp Pasta | Rich Spicy and Velvety Smooth

A luxurious pasta dish coated in a creamy Cajun spiced sauce with tender juicy shrimp and a glossy finish that clings to every strand. Bold, comforting, and full of flavor!


🛒 Ingredients:

  • 200g pasta penne or fettuccine
  • 200g shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp oil or butter
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup parmesan or cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup capsicum sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

👨‍🍳 Directions:

  1. Cook the Pasta
    Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Shrimp
    Heat oil in a pan. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning paprika salt and pepper. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes until pink and tender. Remove and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Base
    In the same pan add onion and garlic. Cook until soft and fragrant.
  4. Make the Creamy Sauce
    Add cream milk and cheese. Stir until smooth and slightly thickened.
  5. Combine Everything
    Add capsicum and cooked shrimp. Mix well and let it simmer briefly.
  6. Add Pasta
    Toss cooked pasta into the sauce until fully coated and glossy.
  7. Garnish and Serve
    Sprinkle fresh parsley and serve hot.
